Do gift cards expire or have any fees?

No, Chipotle gift cards do not expire or carry any fees.

Is there a minimum amount and/or maximum amount I can put on a gift card?

Yes, our gift cards have a minimum value of $10 and a maximum value of $250 per card.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of cards I can buy?

You can purchase up to 10 cards by going to www.Chipotle.com/giftcards and choose "E-Gift Cards" or "Buy & Mail Gift Cards." To Purchase more than 10 cards (E-Gift Cards or mailed cards) go to www.Chipotle.com/giftcards and select "Bulk orders for 10 or more."

BUYING & SENDING

Can I change the value of my gift card or cancel the transaction?

We're sorry, but all gift card transactions are final. If you want to increase the gift card value, then a new transaction will be required.

Can I send or use a gift card outside of the United States?

We do not accept gift cards at any Chipotle restaurants outside of the United States.

I'm making a bulk order. Can I still personalize each card?

If you are purchasing digital gift cards and choose to upload a spreadsheet to email to multiple email addresses, you can personalize each message, one per email address. If you are purchasing plastic gift cards, you will receive bulk plastic gift cards. Those do not include personal messaging.

You may use your gift card in any Chipotle restaurant within the United States.

How can I check the balance of my gift card?

To check your gift card balance, visit www.Chipotle.com/giftcards and select "Check Your Gift Card Balance." Enter the 16 digit Gift Card number and you will see your balance immediately. You can enter your email and/or mobile phone number to have your balance sent to you.

Where is my plastic gift card order?

All gift card orders are processed the following business day. USPS First Class Mail delivery times cannot be guaranteed, but generally take 7-10 business days to arrive. For further assistance please contact us at chipotle@wgiftcard.com.

What should I do if my gift card is lost or stolen?

Chipotle is not responsible for lost or stolen cards and unfortunately, they cannot be replaced.

What is an E-Gift Card?

An E-Gift Card is an electronic gift card that can be emailed or sent via text and redeemed on your smartphone or printed out, as opposed to a traditional plastic gift card. What is the difference between an E-Gift Card, electronic gift card, and a virtual gift certificate?

E-Gift Cards, electronic gift cards, and virtual gift certificates are all the same and can be purchased from www.Chipotle.com/giftcards and can be redeemed at any Chipotle restaurant location in the United States.

What are the advantages of sending an E-Gift Card over sending a conventional plastic gift card?

I recently purchased and sent an E-Gift Card, but it has not arrived. What should I do?

Occasionally E-Gift Cards are intercepted by spam filters; please check with the recipient to see if their gift card is in their spam or junk folders. It is also possible that the email address was incorrectly entered at the time of purchase; please check the email address you entered for the recipient. Can I schedule an E-Gift Card to be delivered at a future date and time?

This is a very popular feature if you want your gift card to arrive at that very special moment. E-Gift Cards can be delivered immediately (subject to credit card and security processing time) or up to one month after purchase.

Unfortunately, we are unable to convert an E-Gift Card to a plastic one. If you still wish to purchase a plastic gift card, return to www.Chipotle.com/giftcards and select "Buy & Mail Gift Cards."

I am having trouble viewing my gift card email. How can I access it?

Some email systems and browsers are set to block images and pop-ups which can prevent a recipient from receiving their E-Gift Card. Please click on the "via web browser" link which is located in the upper right hand corner of the email. Also, check to ensure the pop-up blocker is temporarily disabled; this is typically a yellow box of text just below the browser tabs.

I inadvertently deleted my E-Gift Card before I could use it. How do I request a replacement?

How do I use my E-Gift Card?

Once you have received your email notification, you can view your E-Gift Card by clicking the "Activate Your Card Now" button.

To use your gift card at a Chipotle restaurant, simply bring the E-Gift Card email or text up on your phone and show it to the cashier. If you prefer, you can click the "Print your E-Gift Card" button. Please be sure your printer is switched on and connected to your computer. Once your E-Gift Card has been printed, it can be used at any Chipotle location in the U.S.
