Is there a minimum amount and/or maximum amount I can put on a gift card?

Through our business to business portal you may purchase a gift card for as little as $5 and a maximum of $500 per card.

Is there a maximum business to business gift card order?

The minimum total order meant to be placed on this website is $100. For orders less than $100, please visit {add URL for B2C responsive site}.

Transactions in excess of $9,999.99 require the collection, verification and retention of standard identifying information, including name, date of birth, address and identification number.

The maximum business to business order is $100,000. The maximum business to business purchase with a credit card is $2,000.

Do I have to be an approved customer before placing a business to business gift card order?

Before placing an order on our business to business portal you must register/sign up and be approved as a customer.

Purchasing & Shipping

What payment methods are accepted for business to business gift card purchases?

We accept ACH, wire transfers, credit cards (Visa, MC, Discover and Amex limit $2,000) and business checks. Before an order is processed, payment must be received. If you choose ACH or business check, your order will remain pending until payment has been received and cleared. You will receive an email once the payment has been approved and the order has been approved.

Are there any fees associated with a business to business gift card order?

Yes, shipping fees are clearly stated during the check-out process. You’ll be able to select your preferred estimated shipping speed. Fees associated with each shipping method are clearly defined during the check-out process. All fees, including your gift card purchase, will be paid when a transaction is processed. All sales are final.

Can I change the value of my gift card purchase or cancel the transaction?

You may change value of the gift card purchase or cancel the transaction prior to the transaction being approved. Please call 1-800-824-1706 M-F 8 am to 5 pm MT.

Can I return a gift card or get a refund?

We’re sorry but no, all gift card transactions are final.

What happens if my card was lost or stolen?

We recommend that you protect your card and treat it as you would cash. However, the unused value of a lost, stolen or damaged card as shown by our records can be replaced only if proof of purchase is provided. Proof of purchase is required for the protection of the cardholder from theft and fraud.

How soon after submitting my order will it be approved?

Business to business orders are reviewed and approved/denied daily M-F 8 am to 5 pm MT except holidays when the office is closed. If you choose ACH or business check, your order will remain pending until payment has been received and cleared.

How soon will my gift card arrive?

Please allow 2-3 business days after your order is approved for the order to process and ship in addition to the selected shipping method, excluding weekends and Holidays. We offer Fed Ex 2nd Day and Overnight shipping. If your recipient does not receive your gift cards, please log into your account to request a replacement card.

How do I activate my card(s) once I receive them?

Gift cards are shipped INACTIVE as a safety precaution. To activate gift cards, log into your account and click the "History" tab. Once you have located the specific order, click the wand icon on the right to begin the activation process for all cards. The order status will read "order processed" when complete. Please do not distribute the gift cards until you receive an activation email. The activation process can take 24-48 hours.

Redemption, Restrictions and Fees

Where can I use my gift card?

You may use your gift card exclusively at any WinCo Foods and Waremart by WinCo Foods locations. Please visit https://wincofoods.com/stores to find a store near you.

How do I use my gift card?

You may use your gift card towards any valid purchase at any of our employee-owned stores. Please present your gift card during the payment process, just as you would present any other valid form of payment. Your gift card will be processed through the payment terminal. The cashier will handle your purchase and give you a receipt showing the transaction and your remaining balance. Gift cards cannot be used towards the purchase of non-merchandise (i.e. Money Order, Money Transfers, Lottery, Gift Cards).

Do I need to have the gift card present when making a purchase?

Yes, the actual original physical gift card must be present and must be processed through our payment terminal. We cannot accept copies, pictures, printouts, verbal/written gift card numbers, etc. We also cannot accept gift cards that have been modified or altered in any way that may impact processing, or that misrepresent the gift card’s validity or actual value – such modifications will render a card void.

How can I check the balance of my gift card?

To check your gift card balance, go to www.wincofoods.com, select the Gift Cards option from the menu, and follow the on-screen prompts to check your balance.

What happens if my total is more than the balance on my gift card?

In the event that your transaction total is larger than the balance on your gift card, the full balance of your gift card will be applied towards applicable items on your transaction; the remaining balance can be paid with any other approved form of payment. Empty gift cards can be reloaded for future use, or can be turned in to your cashier.

Are there any restrictions on what I can purchase with a gift card?

Yes, depending on the gift card version, corresponding restrictions will apply. Regular gift cards are accepted towards all valid purchases, excluding the purchase of Money Order or Money Transfers – additionally, they cannot be exchanged for cash, and no change will be given, except where required by law. Gift cards labeled as Family Friendly include all of the previously listed restrictions, with the added conditions that they will not be accepted towards the purchase of alcohol or tobacco products.

Can I purchase alcohol and/or tobacco products along with regular products when I use a family friendly gift card?

You may purchase a variety of products within the same combined transaction – however, when you present a gift card, its balance will only be applied towards applicable products. Any remaining balance for non-participating products may be paid with any other approved form of payment.

Can I get cash back or turn in a gift card for cash?

No, gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash, and no change will be given, except where required by law.

Do gift cards have any fees?

No fees will be charged against your card balance.
