Yes, you can send yourself Sonic App eGift Cards. When purchasing, simply enter your information on the 'Recipient Information' page. Once you receive the eGift Card via email, you can forward it to others or print and then share it. Instructions on how to load the eGift Card into the Sonic App should be included when sharing with the recipient.
The recipient will receive an email indicating that a Sonic App eGift Card has been sent to them. These notifications include any personal messages you added during the purchase process.

Once email notification has been received:
1 Click the ‘Activate Your Gift Now’ button in the email notification.
2 Download or open the SONIC app for iOS or Android.
3 Create or log in to your MySONIC account.
4 Go to the 'My Sonic Cards' section of the app.
5 Tap on 'I have a plastic gift card or a gift card number'.
6 Enter the eGift Card Number and PIN to redeem.
7 You can now use your gift card in the app to pay for Mobile Order Ahead or for in-person orders using SONIC Pay® in the app. (Note: You can add value to your digital card in the app to apply your gift card balance to larger orders.)
To check your gift card balance, go to https://sonic.wgiftcard.com/rbc/sonic and click the 'Check Balance' link. When prompted, enter the gift card number and pin.

Unfortunately, we are unable to convert an eGift Card to a plastic one. The eGift Card can be sent to you for printing and forwarding if you want to include in a physical gift. Remember that eGift Cards can be personalized, which make it a truly unique gift.
Some email systems and browsers are set to block images and pop-ups, which can prevent a recipient from receiving their eGift Card. Please click on the 'via web browser' link which is located in the upper right hand corner of the email. Also, check to ensure the pop-up blocker is temporarily disabled; this is typically a yellow box of text just below the browser tabs.
The purchaser of the eGift card has the ability to resend your eGift card using their confirmation number and email address. Please contact the purchaser and have them resend the eGift card. If you are the purchaser of the eGift card, please contact customer support at 888-288-4657 for assistance.
If you misplaced your eGift Card information, click on the link in the original email to access it. If you no longer have the original email, please contact the purchaser of the eGift card and have them resend it to you.
We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen cards. However, if you have proof of purchase, please contact customer support at 888-288-4657 for assistance. If we find your eGift card has not been redeemed or has some remaining value, we can cancel the original and issue you a new eGift Card for that value.
